Tour Itinerary

Meet our crew at the picturesque port of Agios Sostis. After a brief safety orientation, we board our glass-bottom boat and set sail into the crystal-clear waters of Laganas Bay.

Our experienced captains use their local knowledge to find the majestic Caretta-Caretta turtles. Thanks to our glass-bottom viewing windows, you can observe these endangered creatures swimming beneath the boat without disturbing them.

We drop anchor at Marathonisi, the uninhabited island shaped like a turtle. Enjoy an hour of swimming in the turquoise waters or relaxing on the golden sandy beach where the turtles lay their eggs.

We cruise along the southwest coast to the Keri Caves. We’ll take the boat through the massive limestone arches and stop for a second swim at the famous Camara Arch, one of the island's most photographed natural rock formations.

On our way back to the port, we sail past the iconic wooden bridge of Cameo Island. This is the perfect time for some final photos of the bay before we conclude our 3-hour nature adventure.

While the Caretta-Caretta turtles are wild animals and we cannot give a 100% guarantee, our success rate is over 90%. Our captains are experts at spotting them, and our glass-bottom boat allows for excellent viewing without disturbing their natural behavior.

To protect the endangered species, swimming directly with the turtles is strictly prohibited by National Marine Park regulations. We observe them from a respectful distance on the boat. However, you will have plenty of time to swim at Marathonisi Island and the Keri Caves!

Yes! This is one of our most family-friendly tours. The boat is stable, provides plenty of shade, and features glass-bottom windows so everyone can see the underwater world comfortably. The water at Marathonisi is also shallow and perfect for kids.

This tour departs from the small port of Agios Sostis (near Laganas). If you haven't booked a transfer with us, please arrive at the port at least 15 minutes before departure. Detailed directions will be provided in your booking confirmation.

We do not provide snorkeling masks due to hygiene standards, but we highly recommend bringing your own! The Keri Caves and the waters around Marathonisi offer excellent visibility and plenty of fish to see.
